WifeMood’s data input has been designed to make it easy for you to visit every day and spend <2 minutes to input and save your daily data.
Important Note: WifeMood is designed to track and predict your wife’s behavior based on what day of her monthly cycle she is on. This means that the first time you enter anything into WifeMood’s calendar, it has to be the date that her Period Started. If this is a new concept to you, then read our tips page for advice on knowing when her cycle starts.
Do you happen to know when her last Period started? It is critical to WifeMood to have this information with your first entry into the WifeMood tool. If you know when her last Period Started, then skip down to “Using the Calendar” below.
If you want to know why it is critical to start with the date her Period started, then go back and read How It Works. That page provides an explanation of how the WifeMood tool works.
If you don’t know when her last Period Started, then don’t worry, there’s a few options.
- Can you find out when her last Period Started by asking her? It’s up to you if you want to tell her you are using this site. But many women know when their Periods started so if you ask you are likely to find out. If you find out this way, go to “Using the Calendar.”
- Do you want to wait until the next Period starts? Do not get frustrated if this is the case, just pay attention to her periods using our tips page and then make sure you return as soon as she starts her new Period. You can use our Daily Email reminders to make sure you don’t forget.
- You can guess. Guessing is an ok option if you can get pretty close, but we advise you against guessing if it truly is just a shot in the dark.
Once you know her latest Period start date, go to “Using the Calendar.”
Using the Calendar:
Ok, you know your wife’s latest Period Start Date, now let’s start. It’s ok if you don’t remember how she behaved on that day or any of the other days in the past.
Go to the calendar and select the date of her latest Period Start Date. Click the box that identifies this day as the start of her new Period Cycle.
Is this the start of a new period cycle?
Next, if you know what her behaviors and moods were for the day that you have selected, then score your categories and add any comments that you want to save for this day.
If you don’t know what her moods were for this day you don’t have to score any of your categories. Just click the start of a new period cycle box and then save the day.
Now, you just have to start updating WifeMood every day (or as often as you can). It’s as easy as:
- Go to the Input Data page and select the day.
- If she started a new Period this day, then click the Start of a new period cycle box, if she didn’t start a new Period then ignore this box.
- Score your categories.
- Input any comments about her behavior for the day.
- Save the day.
- Repeat for as many days as you can and then enjoy your new found knowledge.
The Calendar
The Calendar is constructed to make data input, and seeing your progress, very simple. The legend off to the right shows that each day that is colored Red is the day your wife started her period. Each day that is shaded Green means that you have already saved data on that day. This makes it easy to look at the calendar and see your progress.
For example, in the calendar that is shown directly above, April 16th was saved as the start of a new period cycle. Then, it wasn’t until April 24th that data started being saved on a daily basis. There is data saved on April 24th and April 25th. The current date is April 26th. Again, it is ok to skip days. The WifeMood tool works best if you don’t skip days, but it will still work and give you the results and prediction you need.
It Is So Easy, 1 to 2 Minutes Per Day Is All It Takes
All WifeMood needs is 1-2 minutes of your time on a daily basis. WifeMood will even remind you every day to make it even simpler. You track her behaviors in the categories that you want to track and WifeMood will do the rest.
Your time is valuable so don’t waste it guessing her mood. Know when she is in a good mood or when she is not. Plan your actions and behaviors around her mood to maximize fun, minimize fights, and fully enjoy the wonderful woman you married.
